Purpose: Used to specify the extension of the girder beyond the first and last bearings.

The weight of steel and concrete in the extension of the girder past the end bearings is added to noncomposite dead load end reactions, and is included in the weight table, in girder output. (Girder system output reactions do not include this loading detail.) The default is 1.0 feet (0.3048 meters.)
