Purpose: Used to define bolt diameters at web splices.

Diameter of bolts used in flanges and web splices. Default is 0.875 inches or 22 mm. Flange removal in excess of 15 percent is used for section properties for fatigue stresses when the condition CATEGORY B FLANGE FATIGUE AT WEB SPLICES is used. (Also see FNHOLES)
Holes are assumed 0.0625 inches (1.6 mm) larger than the bolt diameter.
